Korean Skin Booster Injection Price: What Decides It? Forum Claims, Methods and Recovery

I wrote this because people tend to compare boosters by the figure per session. That figure is the result of a plan, and two quotes only line up once you know which plan sits behind each one.

A Korean skin booster injection price follows four things: which booster, how much of your face, how much product, and which numbing level. We tailor every plan after a skin assessment, so fees are confirmed by message.

Why do skin booster quotes look so different?

Rejuran is the genuine product at every clinic. What changes between two quotes is what the plan contains, and how accurately the product reaches the thin dermis.

The cells that make collagen, fibroblasts, sit mostly in the dermis, roughly 0.5 to 2 mm below the surface depending on the area. Shallow injections hurt more. When pain isn't under control, the product tends to be placed deeper than the dermis, and that can weaken the effect. So a quote that looks low and one that looks high may describe different things: a smaller area, a different product, a different amount. Before you compare figures, put the same three questions to each one. Which product? Which areas? How much?

I check your skin's thickness, texture and sensitivity first, then set the injection depth and amount to you, and I explain aftercare before you leave. A figure given before that step is a guess about a face I haven't seen. That's why, in my plans, the cost comes after the plan, and the plan comes after looking at your skin.

Which booster suits which skin

In your 40s and 50s the concern is rarely one thing. Cheeks feel dry, the skin under the eyes creases, old acne marks show more, and the jawline softens. We use four Rejuran products from PharmaResearch, and I choose which one, or which combination, after assessing your skin.

Rejuran isn't the only skin booster on our menu. If your skin calls for something else, that's part of the same conversation.

If you've been searching PDRN for dry skin: PN and PDRN both come from salmon DNA, and they're related without being identical. A comparison published in Pharmaceutics treats them as molecules with different chain lengths and different clinical uses, which is one reason a menu can list them separately.

Peptide injections and some other brand-name boosters that show up in searches aren't on my menu, so I'm not going to describe them as if I'd used them. If one is offered to you, ask what is in the vial and how much of it goes in. Contouring injections such as Minus Pet are sometimes mentioned alongside boosters, but they work on fat, so they're a separate decision from skin quality.

What decides the cost for your skin

Most of a Korean skin booster injection price is set by five things.

The booster itself. PN alone, PN with hyaluronic acid, the eye-area formula and the scar formula are different products, and some faces need two of them.

The area. Full face, under-eyes only, or face plus neck changes how much product goes in.

The dose. Genuine product at the exact dose is our standing rule, so the amount in your plan is the amount injected.

The numbing level. 5A+ runs from 0+, which equals standard numbing cream, up to 5+. Ask whether the level you choose changes your fee.

Sessions and the rest of the plan. I don't promise a number of sessions before I've seen your skin. If lifting or laser would also help, I plan anti-aging in a sequence: skin quality first, then lift, then tone. That order shapes what you do on this trip and what can wait.

Say you're 54, flying in from Toronto for a family visit, with dry cheeks, fine creases under the eyes and a jawline that has softened. I'd start with the skin: PN with hyaluronic acid for the cheeks and the eye-area formula underneath, at a numbing level you're comfortable with. The jawline is a separate question. A booster doesn't change an outline, so if it bothers you, lifting would be the next step in the sequence, on this trip or a later one. Two quotes that just say "skin booster" would hide all of that.

What do forum threads get right, and what do they miss?

Threads about Korean boosters repeat a handful of claims. Some hold up medically and some don't.

The claim that the same product means the lower quote is the same treatment is half right. The product is genuine; the dose, the area and the depth it reaches are not automatically the same.

The claim that it hurts is largely true. PN is a thick, high-molecular liquid pushed into dense dermis, so it presses on nearby nerves. Standard numbing cream may not reach the deeper part of that sensation. Numbing can control the pain; it can't remove it entirely.

The claim that the bumps vanish overnight is sometimes true. The small raised bumps at the injection points usually settle in about 1 to 3 days, and mild redness in about 1 to 2 days.

The claim that one session changes skin dramatically is where I'd slow down. Laboratory work links PN to more active fibroblasts and matrix production, but human evidence is still more limited, and I don't promise a result within a set number of days.

How long is recovery before you fly home?

Light makeup is fine after 24 hours. For about a week, skip the sauna, steam rooms, hot baths and hard exercise, and avoid alcohol and smoking for 1 to 2 weeks. Keep using moisturizer and sunscreen.

We're open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00, closed Sundays and public holidays. If you land at Gimpo, Line 9 runs to Yeouido Station. From Incheon, limousine bus 6007 stops at Eugene Investment & Securities, about five minutes on foot, and the bus back to the airport leaves from the stop in front of the clinic.

A session early in your stay gives the bumps time to settle before family dinners and photos. A session the day before your flight means boarding with them still visible.

Who should wait, and what can go wrong?

Risks and side effects to know

The common reactions are temporary: small bumps, mild redness, slight swelling, stinging, and sometimes a bruise at an injection point. Bleeding, infection and inflammation are possible complications. Results vary by individual.

As general medicine, it's usually wiser to wait if you have an active infection, an acne flare or inflammation where you'd be injected, a recent laser or resurfacing treatment on the same area, current or recent isotretinoin, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Because PN comes from salmon DNA, an allergy to fish or salmon-derived ingredients matters too. Tell me about any of these at your consultation.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises people traveling for medical care to keep copies of their records and to plan follow-up care at home before they go. If redness spreads, the area turns hot or more painful after the first few days, or you develop a fever, see a doctor at home promptly and message us a photo as well.
