Rejuran Microneedling: Do You Need It With Your Skin Booster?

Rejuran microneedling appears on many clinic menus. Here is what the term can mean, what to ask before you agree, and how a doctor decides. Time Return Clinic.

Hi, this is Time Return.

You may have seen Rejuran microneedling on a clinic menu and wondered what it actually is. Is it a different treatment? An add-on? Something you must have?

"Is microneedling a stronger version of Rejuran?"

"Will I pay for something I do not need?"

"How do I know the clinic is doing the right thing?"

Today we answer the Rejuran microneedling question in plain words, so you know what to ask before you say yes.

The short answer

The label on a menu does not tell you what will happen to your skin. Questions do.

So do not choose by the name. Ask what is done, with which product, and by whom. A clear answer is worth more than a fancy name.

What does Rejuran microneedling mean?

Honestly, it depends on the clinic. Some use the phrase for fine needles that touch the skin surface. Some use it for a method that spreads the product across the skin. Others use it as a marketing word.

You may also see microneedling with Rejuran, rejuran mesotherapy or needleless Rejuran. These names are not standard across clinics, and we do not claim to know how each clinic uses them.

What we can say for sure is the basics. Rejuran is made by PharmaResearch and contains polynucleotide (PN) from salmon DNA. Our plain-English guide to Rejuran covers it step by step.

Who asks about this?

Mostly people comparing menus from several clinics. One clinic says "injection", another says "skin booster microneedling", and a third says "needleless". It is confusing, and that is normal.

You may also be worried about comfort or recovery. That is fair. We have written about both: how we manage pain and what to expect after.

What should you avoid, and what is fine?

You do not need to be an expert. A few simple rules protect you.

NO

  • Agreeing to an add-on you cannot explain back to yourself
  • Choosing a method only because it sounds more advanced
  • Expecting the same result as someone else's photo

OK

  • Asking what the add-on is for, and what happens if you skip it
  • Asking which product is used and whether the dose is exact
  • Asking whether the doctor or an assistant does the work

Results vary by individual, and that is why the plan matters more than the label.

What should you ask before you book?

Whatever the name, these four questions help.

  1. What exactly will be done to my skin?
  2. Is the product genuine, and is the dose exact?
  3. What is the numbing plan?
  4. Will the doctor do it, and how is my plan decided?

If a clinic cannot answer these clearly, that tells you more than any menu name.

Questions we get about rejuran microneedling

Is Rejuran microneedling the same as Rejuran injections?
Not necessarily. Clinics use these words in different ways. Ask what exactly will be done to your skin, which product is used, and who does it. We inject Rejuran by hand with the Rejuran Healer method.
Do I need microneedling with Rejuran?
We cannot say that for everyone. The doctor checks your skin thickness, texture and sensitivity first, then decides the plan. Message us your concern and the doctor will advise you.
What does needleless Rejuran mean?
It is a term you may see on some menus. We do not list specifications for it here. Check the maker's official information and ask the clinic to explain it in plain words.
Is microneedling with Rejuran painful?
Comfort differs from person to person and from method to method. Ask the clinic what numbing plan they use. Ours is plasma 5-step anesthesia.
Can I skip the guesswork and ask the doctor?
Yes. Send a clear photo of your concern and your travel dates. The doctor replies with what suits your skin.

Results vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, explained before you agree to treatment. This article is general information from the clinic, not a diagnosis. Suitability is decided at the consultation.
