Rejuran Healer cost Korea: five things that set your figure

I've written a broader piece on what decides the Rejuran fee in Korea. This one stays with Rejuran Healer and with the choices you face when the trip is short and the budget is fixed.

The four products are Rejuran Healer itself, a version combined with hyaluronic acid for dry skin, one made for the thin skin around the eyes, and one for depressed acne scars. One thing never moves: the dose. Genuine product at the exact dose is a standing rule here. So if two quotes look far apart, ask what amount of product and which area each one covers before you put them side by side.

Your own trip sits on top of the clinic fee: nights in Seoul, and enough days after the session for the small bumps to settle before you fly or meet anyone. To get the figure for your case, ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for your skin and the areas you care about.

What results should you expect from Rejuran Healer?

Rejuran Healer is a polynucleotide (PN) injectable made from salmon DNA. It is meant to work on the fibroblasts in the dermis, the cells that make collagen and elastin, which sit roughly 0.5 to 2 mm below the surface. What people usually hope for is better texture, softer fine lines and skin that looks less thin and dry.

What it does not do matters just as much for your budget. Rejuran does not lift a jawline that has dropped, and it does not fill a deep fold. If those are your main complaints, spending the whole budget on Rejuran is likely to leave you disappointed.

The science is still catching up. Laboratory studies link PN to more active fibroblasts and matrix production, and a review comparing polynucleotides and PDRN in dermatology lays out those mechanisms. Evidence in people is still more limited. Results vary by individual.

Do the forum claims about Rejuran hold up?

Forum threads about Rejuran in Korea tend to repeat the same few claims. Some are right, and some need a correction.

“It's the same product everywhere, so the lowest quote wins.” The first half is true: genuine Rejuran is the same product wherever it is used. What differs is how accurately it reaches the thin dermis, and what amount and area the quote covers. A lower figure for less product over a smaller area is a different purchase.

“It's one of the more uncomfortable boosters.” Mostly true. Rejuran's PN is a thick liquid pushed into dense dermis, and the shallower the injection, the more it tends to hurt. That is why I pair it with 5A+, where level 0+ equals standard numbing cream and you can go up to 5+. Pain tolerance varies.

“The bumps mean it was done badly.” Usually not. Small raised bumps where the product sits are a common, short-lived reaction. They usually settle in about 1 to 3 days, and mild redness in about 1 to 2 days.

“One session and you're set for a year.” Nothing in the evidence supports a fixed promise like that, and I don't promise a number of sessions before I've examined your skin. Hand injection or a device: does the method change the plan?

Rejuran can be placed by hand with a fine needle or with an injector device. I inject by hand. At each point I adjust depth, pressure and angle, and I keep the points closely and evenly spaced, because Rejuran is many tiny injections, not one shot.

The reason is depth. When pain is poorly controlled, Rejuran often ends up deeper than the dermis, which can reduce the effect. Keeping you comfortable with 5A+ is what lets the needle stay where the fibroblasts are. I've gone into this further in why hand injection suits thin skin.

For your budget, the method shows up less as a line on the quote and more as the question of whether the product you pay for sits where it can work. If you've read about a specific version such as Rejuran HB Plus, ask on WhatsApp whether it is one of the four I use.

When I'd tell you not to book Rejuran on this trip

Some trips are the wrong moment for Rejuran, and saying so early saves you money.

The first is when your real worry is shape. If your jawline has softened or your cheeks have dropped, that is usually a lift question. I plan anti-aging in a sequence, skin quality first, then lift, then tone, and a dropped jawline belongs to the lift step, with thread lifting or ultrasound lifting such as Ultherapy Prime. Rejuran can come before or after, but it shouldn't be the whole plan.

The second is timing. If your only open slot is the day before a wedding, a job interview or a photo shoot, the bumps may still be visible. Move the session or move the event.

The third is expectation. If one session on a tight budget has to produce a dramatic change for the trip to feel worth it, I'd rather you knew now that Rejuran tends to work gradually on skin quality.

Say you're 27, you have five days in Seoul in December, your cheeks look dry and tired on camera, and your cousin's wedding is the evening after you land. I would not put Rejuran before the wedding. I'd look at whether a session the morning after still leaves the 1 to 3 days the bumps usually need before your flight. And if the budget covers one area, I'd rather treat that area properly than spread the same budget across the whole face.

Doctor's note

Tired-looking skin and a softening jawline often show up together, and they need different tools. Rejuran answers the first. If the jawline is what you notice every morning, I'd rather you spent this trip on the lift and came back to Rejuran another time. The skin assessment is where we settle which one comes first.

How many days in Seoul should you plan around a session?

The clinic is open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00, and closed on Sundays and public holidays. If you land on a Saturday evening, the next open day is Monday.

From Gimpo Airport, Line 9 runs to Yeouido Station, and Exit 4 is about four minutes on foot. From Incheon, limousine bus 6007 stops at Eugene Investment & Securities (behind the Conrad Hotel), about five minutes' walk away, and the stop for the limousine back to Incheon is in front of the clinic. Booking ahead is recommended.

After the session, small bumps usually settle in 1 to 3 days and mild redness in 1 to 2. Light makeup is fine after 24 hours. For about a week, skip saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and hard exercise, so put any jjimjilbang visit before your appointment. Avoid alcohol and smoking for 1 to 2 weeks, keep up moisturizer and sunscreen, and don't scrub the area.

On a short trip, that points to one thing: book the session in the first two days, so the bumps settle while you're still sightseeing.

Risks and side effects to know

The common reactions are temporary: small bumps, mild redness, a little stinging, and sometimes slight swelling or bruising at the injection points. As with any injection, bleeding, infection and inflammation are possible complications.

As general medicine, these are reasons to wait or skip it:

• active acne, a rash or any infection where you'd be injected
• a recent laser or resurfacing treatment on the same area
• isotretinoin, now or recently
• pregnancy or breastfeeding
• an allergy to fish or salmon-derived ingredients, or to anything in the product

After you fly home, redness or swelling that grows instead of fading, heat, increasing pain, pus or a fever are reasons to see a doctor at home promptly. Bring the product name and the date of your session. The US CDC's medical tourism guidance suggests arranging follow-up care at home before you go and getting copies of your medical records.
