The figure follows which product fits your skin, how much area is treated, how many sessions you need and the numbing level you choose. Fees follow your plan, and we confirm them by message after your skin assessment.

Why can't anyone quote Rejuran before seeing your skin?

The same request can turn into very different plans once someone looks at your skin.

Risks and side effects to know

Rejuran is the genuine product at every clinic. The difference is how accurately it reaches the thin dermis, which sits about 0.5 to 2 mm below the surface and changes in thickness across one face. Thin skin around the eyes, dry cheeks and acne scars along the jaw can each call for a different product, depth and amount.

That's why I sit down with you first, look at your skin and decide where and how much to inject. Asked before that, “how much does Rejuran cost in Korea” only gets you a guess about your face.

Four decisions that shape what you pay

Which Rejuran product fits your skin

We use four Rejuran products from PharmaResearch, and I choose which one, or which combination, after assessing your skin. Rejuran Healer is the PN skin booster for texture, elasticity and fine lines. A version combined with hyaluronic acid, sold as Rejuran HB, is often chosen for dry skin that needs hydration as well. There is also a product for the thin skin around the eyes, known as Rejuran i, and one for depressed acne scars, known as Rejuran S.

How much skin is treated

Under-eyes only, the full face, or face and neck are different amounts of product and time. If two areas are treated with two different products, ask how the plan is itemised.

One session or a series

I set the number and spacing of sessions after examining your skin thickness and goals, and I don't promise a fixed number before that. If you are travelling, the question is whether to start with one session this trip and come back later, or to plan the return visits now.

The numbing level you choose

Our plasma 5-step anesthesia (5A+) lets you pick a level from 0+ to 5+, where 0+ equals standard numbing cream. Pain tolerance varies, so ask whether the level you pick changes what you pay. You can read how the five numbing levels work before you decide.

What results are you paying for?

You're paying for changes in skin quality, such as texture, fine lines, elasticity and hydration, according to the product chosen. Results vary by individual.

In the first days after Rejuran, small bumps from the injection points usually last 1 to 3 days, and redness usually settles within 1 to 2 days. That is what your skin will look like right after the session, before any change in quality shows.

Methods: hand injection and where the product lands

Rejuran is many tiny injections spread across the skin, so the result rests on where each one lands and how evenly the area is covered.

Shallow injections hurt more. When pain can't be controlled, Rejuran is often placed deeper than the dermis, which can reduce the effect. That's why I pair it with 5A+: with the pain under control, I can keep the needle in the dermis. By hand, I adjust depth, pressure and angle point by point and keep the points closely and evenly spaced.

Some clinics use injection devices for skin boosters. Whichever method you're offered, ask how the depth is set for thin areas such as around the eyes and nose.

Doctor's note

If you come in asking for as much Rejuran as your budget allows, I'll slow the conversation down. In thin skin, more product placed below the dermis does less than the right dose placed in it, and you pay for every syringe either way. The amount I set is the amount I think your skin can use.

How do you keep a Rejuran plan to what your skin needs?

Most of what forums say about Rejuran is close to true. A few claims cost people money.

“More syringes means better results.” Not on its own. The dose is set to your skin, and product that lands too deep adds cost without adding much.

“HB is the premium Rejuran.” It's a different product, chosen for dry skin that needs hydration as well. It isn't a higher tier.

“You need a set number of sessions.” Nobody can know that before examining your skin.

“The photos online show what you'll get.” A case photo shows one person's skin under particular lighting, at a particular time after treatment. Knowing how to read Rejuran case photos helps you see what they can and can't tell you.

When you get a plan, ask which product and why, which area, how many sessions are suggested and how far apart, which numbing level, and what the figure includes. Each answer should point back to something about your skin.

Before you message, write down which of the four decisions above you're least sure about, and put that question on WhatsApp first. Starting with your own doubt is the quickest way to learn whether a larger plan is about your skin.

Say you have four days in Seoul and dry, thin cheeks

Say you're 36, you live in Melbourne, your cheeks feel dry and crinkly by mid-afternoon, and you've booked four days in Seoul starting on a Thursday.

Dry, thin cheeks point toward Rejuran Healer or the hyaluronic acid version, and one session on this trip is where I'd start. Later sessions are easier to plan once you've seen how your skin responds. For this trip, the answer to “how much does Rejuran cost in Korea” comes down to one product, one area, one session and the numbing level you choose.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, and closed on Sundays and public holidays, so a Friday appointment leaves you two days for the bumps to settle. Light makeup is fine after 24 hours. Skip saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and hard exercise for about a week, which rules out a jjimjilbang night, and avoid alcohol and smoking for 1 to 2 weeks.

Director appointments for Rejuran are scheduled individually, so tell us your dates first and we will check availability. From Incheon Airport, limousine bus 6007 stops at Eugene Investment & Securities, about 5 minutes on foot. From Gimpo, Line 9 runs to Yeouido Station, about 4 minutes from Exit 4. After the session you get aftercare guidance and a suggestion for your next session, and that same guidance is what you follow once you're back home in Melbourne.

What can go wrong, and who should wait?

The common reactions are temporary: small bumps for about 1 to 3 days, mild redness for 1 to 2 days, slight stinging, and sometimes mild swelling or a bruise at an injection point. Like any injection, Rejuran can cause bleeding, infection or inflammation.

As general medicine, it's wiser to wait or tell the doctor first if you have:

• an allergy to fish or salmon-derived ingredients, since PN comes from salmon DNA
• an active infection, inflammation or acne flare in the area
• a pregnancy, or you are breastfeeding
• a recent laser or strong exfoliating treatment on the same area
• current or recent isotretinoin, or blood-thinning medicine

Whether Rejuran suits you is decided at the in-person exam.

At home, redness that spreads, heat, pus or a fever needs a local doctor promptly, and it helps to send photos to the clinic on WhatsApp too. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises medical travelers to bring copies of their records home and arrange follow-up care where they live.
