Rejuran Korea latest: is the newest version on the menu the one your skin actually needs?

Read this before you pick a product name off a screenshot.

You'll know what each Rejuran version I use is for, what results the evidence supports, what decides the cost, and which forum claims hold up. That way you can ask for the version that fits your skin and your budget.

I wrote this because many people choose a version by how new it sounds. What decides the result is whether that version matches the skin, and how accurately it reaches the dermis.

The newer-sounding names aren't stronger Rejuran. They are versions of the same polynucleotide (PN) booster made for different problems: overall texture, dryness, thin skin around the eyes, or acne scars.

What is Rejuran, and what is actually new?

Rejuran Healer is PharmaResearch's skin booster, made of PN from salmon DNA and injected into the dermis. In laboratory studies, PN and the related PDRN are linked to more active fibroblasts, the cells that make collagen. Human evidence is still more limited.

A paper in Pharmaceutics comparing PN and PDRN describes the mechanisms as plausible and the clinical data as still building. I find that a useful way to hold it: a reasonable treatment for skin quality, with studies that are growing but still small.

Most of what shows up under “Rejuran Korea latest” is a list of version names. Each one pairs PN with a purpose, and that purpose is what you should be choosing.

The four versions I use, and who each is for

I use four Rejuran products from PharmaResearch. Which one, or which combination, I decide after assessing your skin.

If you've seen another name in a search, such as “HB plus,” ask about it by name. The four above are the ones I work with.

Is the newest version the strongest one?

No. A version made for acne scars adds nothing for dry cheeks. A hyaluronic-acid version doesn't do the job of the eye version under thin lower lids.

Before choosing, I check your skin's thickness, texture and sensitivity. Then I set the depth and amount for you. If you sat across from me, my first question would be what bothers you when you look in the mirror. Dryness, crinkling, scars and a general loss of bounce each point to a different vial.

A typical case, reasoned through

Say you're 56 and live in Los Angeles. Your cheeks feel dry and papery by the afternoon, and the skin under your eyes has started to crinkle when you smile. Your daughter saw “the new Rejuran” online and has booked a week in Seoul for you both.

I'd look at the cheeks and the lower lids separately. Dry, thinning cheeks often lead the conversation toward the hyaluronic-acid version. Very thin under-eye skin is the reason the eye version exists. It may be one product or a combination, and I'd decide that with your skin in front of me, after you've told me which area matters most.

Why the same vial can give different results

Rejuran is the genuine product at every clinic. The difference is how accurately it reaches the thin dermis.

The collagen-making fibroblasts sit mostly in the dermis, about 0.5 to 2 mm below the surface depending on the area. Shallow injections hurt more. When pain can't be controlled, Rejuran tends to end up deeper than the dermis, where it can do less.

That's why I pair Rejuran with plasma 5-step anesthesia (5A+). Level 0+ equals standard numbing cream, and you can go up to 5+. Doctor's note

If you came in asking for the newest Rejuran, I wouldn't argue about names. I'd want to see your skin in daylight and judge how thin it is under the eyes, then pick the version and the depth. The right version placed where the fibroblasts sit does more for you than a newer label placed too deep.

What results can you expect?

Rejuran is for skin quality: texture, fine lines, thin or dry skin. It doesn't change the shape of a sagging jawline. When I plan anti-aging, I work in a sequence: skin quality first, then lift, then tone.

Changes come gradually as the skin responds, which is why I don't promise a date. A real-life assessment of injectable PN, published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, looked at how it performs in routine aesthetic practice. That kind of data is useful, though it carries less weight than a controlled trial.

Which forum claims hold up?

“Rejuran in Korea is a stronger formula.” I can't support that. The vial is PharmaResearch's genuine product. What changes between clinics is the hand that places it.

“It hurts a lot.” Partly true. Rejuran's PN is a thick, viscous liquid pushed into dense dermis through many small injections, and shallow points are the most sensitive. Pain can be controlled. It can't be removed entirely.

“The bumps last a week.” Usually not. The small raised bumps at the injection points usually settle in about 1 to 3 days, and mild redness in about 1 to 2 days.

“One session and you're done.” Nobody can promise that before seeing your skin, and I won't.

What decides the Rejuran cost for your skin?

Cost is the other half of most Rejuran Korea latest searches. I tailor every plan after a skin assessment, so the fee is confirmed by message. These are the factors that move it:

• which version you need, or whether a combination fits better
• how many areas: full face, the under-eye area, scarred areas
• how many sessions your skin needs, set after assessment
• whether Rejuran is planned together with lifting in the same trip
• how many days you have in Seoul, which decides what fits in one visit

Risks and side effects to know

The common reactions are temporary: small bumps at the injection points, mild redness, slight swelling and some stinging. As with any injection, bleeding, infection and inflammation are possible complications. Results vary by individual.

As a general medical point, it is usually wiser to wait if you have an active infection or inflammation where the injections would go, or if you've had a recent laser or resurfacing treatment on that area. The same applies if you take isotretinoin for acne, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are allergic to fish or salmon-derived ingredients, since PN comes from salmon DNA.

After your session, avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and hard exercise for about a week, and alcohol and smoking for 1 to 2 weeks. Light makeup is fine after 24 hours. If redness spreads, the area gets hot, or pain increases after you fly home, see a doctor near you promptly and message the clinic with a photo. The US CDC's medical tourism guidance also suggests telling your doctor at home about the trip before you go.

Planning your days in Seoul

We're open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00, closed Sundays and public holidays. If you land on a Saturday evening, Monday is your first possible day.

The clinic is about 4 minutes on foot from Yeouido Station Exit 4 (Lines 5 and 9). Line 9 runs from Gimpo Airport to Yeouido Station. From Incheon, limousine bus 6007 stops at Eugene Investment & Securities, behind the Conrad Hotel, about 5 minutes away on foot.

Put the session early in your trip if you have a dinner or photos planned, so the bumps have a few days to settle. If a jjimjilbang is on your list, go before the session, not after.

Your first message can be short. One daylight photo and one question are enough, for example: “Is the HB or the eye version closer to what my under-eyes need?” You can ask before booking anything.
