I wrote this because people often read a Rejuran quote as the price of a product, when most of it reflects decisions about your skin that haven't been made yet.

What a Rejuran injection costs in Korea comes down to three things: which Rejuran product your skin needs, how much area is treated, and how many sessions are planned. All three are set after a skin assessment, so the fee for your case is confirmed by message once your plan exists.

To start on your own case, send one daylight photo of the area that bothers you and your travel dates on WhatsApp, with the one line on a quote you can't make sense of. One photo is enough, and you can ask before booking anything.

Why does one Rejuran quote look so different from the next?

When people search “Rejuran injection cost Korea,” they usually want one number. The trouble is that the dermis, where Rejuran is meant to sit, is only about 0.5 to 2 mm thick, and it changes across a single face. Under-eye skin is thinner than cheek skin. A temple with old acne marks needs something different from a smooth jawline.

That's why two quotes can both say “one Rejuran session” and describe treatments with little in common. Each one is pricing a set of choices: which product, how much of it, in which areas, over how many visits.

Before I decide any of that, I check skin thickness, texture and sensitivity, then set injection depth and amount for the person in front of me. Those decisions are what a quote is really made of, and a menu can't make them for you.

However they're laid out, most quotes are built from the same few lines.

Product comes first. I use four Rejuran products from PharmaResearch and choose one, or a combination, after assessing your skin. Rejuran Healer is the PN booster for texture, elasticity and fine lines; HB adds hyaluronic acid and is often chosen for dry skin that also needs hydration. The eye-area version is made for the thin skin there, and S is used for depressed acne scars. If a quote names a product before anyone has seen your skin, treat that line as a placeholder.

Amount and area are where quotes drift furthest apart. Under-eyes alone take less product than a full face, and adding the neck takes more. When you compare, ask how much product each quote includes and for which zones. Without that, two figures can't be compared at all.

On sessions, I don't promise a number before the assessment. I set the number and spacing after seeing your skin thickness and goals, and the aftercare guidance after a session includes a suggestion for the next one.

Numbing is chosen by you. Plasma 5-step anesthesia (5A+) lets you pick a level from 0+ to 5+, and level 0+ equals standard numbing cream. If you want to know whether the level you'd pick changes anything in your plan, ask that directly when you write.

Combination plans answer a different goal. TR Ultherran puts Ulthera, Thermage and Rejuran into one plan, with the amount of each set for your skin, and it belongs on its own line. I plan anti-aging in a sequence (skin quality, then lift, then tone), so a first visit doesn't have to include a lift.

When you write, list the areas you care about in order, for example cheeks first and under-eyes second, and attach a daylight photo of each without makeup. Then ask which product lines would apply to those areas and how many trips the plan might take.

What results can Rejuran give, and what can't it?

Rejuran Healer is PharmaResearch's injectable polynucleotide (PN), made from salmon DNA. It acts on fibroblasts, the collagen-making cells that sit mostly in the dermis, which is why depth matters. The aim is skin quality: texture, elasticity, fine lines, and the dry, thin feel some skin develops after years of lasers or sun.

Published studies on polynucleotides, pooled in a systematic review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, mostly report improvements in skin quality, though many of those studies are small. Rejuran does not lift a sagging jawline. Threads or focused ultrasound address that, so if a quote expects a lift from Rejuran alone, ask what is doing the lifting.

Say you're 34, your cheeks feel tight and look dull by mid-afternoon, and fine lines have started under your eyes. I'd be thinking about Healer or HB for the cheeks and the eye-area product underneath, with no lifting line at all. Add a few shallow acne marks on the temples and S might join them. That's up to three products on one face, which is why a one-line quote tells you so little.

Doctor's note

If the quote is all you have, the first thing I'd want to know is how much product it includes and for which areas. A smaller figure for less product over a smaller zone describes a different treatment, nothing more. That's also why I don't give a figure before I've seen the skin: until then, I don't know what I'd be pricing.

What forum threads get right and wrong about cost

“A lower quote means diluted or fake product.” Rejuran is the same genuine product at every clinic. What can differ is how much is used and how accurately it reaches the dermis. Ask how much product your quote includes, and ask to see the sealed product on the day.

A quote for a single session shows the cost of one visit; the plan may ask for more.

“It hurts so much it isn't worth it.” Rejuran is many small injections into shallow dermis, and shallower injections hurt more, so that part is true. Numbing changes how much you feel, and pain tolerance varies, which makes the level you choose matter more than any thread suggests.

“Budget a week of hiding indoors.” The small bumps at the injection points usually settle in about 1 to 3 days, and mild redness in about 1 to 2.

Does hand injection or a device change the plan?

I inject Rejuran by hand: many tiny injections, closely and evenly spaced in the dermis, with depth, pressure and angle adjusted point by point. That matters most where skin thickness changes quickly, around the eyes and nose, and over uneven texture or scars.

Some clinics deliver boosters with injector devices set to a fixed depth, which can cover flat, even areas efficiently. The trade-off shows in thin or uneven zones. When two quotes use different methods, compare the method first. The figure only makes sense next to it.

Who should wait, and what can go wrong?

Risks and side effects to know

Common and temporary: small raised bumps at the injection points, usually settling in about 1 to 3 days; mild redness for about 1 to 2 days; a little stinging; and sometimes bruising or swelling. Bleeding, infection and inflammation are possible with any injection.

As general medicine, it's usually wiser to postpone if the area has an active infection, a cold sore or inflamed acne; if you've had a laser or chemical peel there recently; if you're taking isotretinoin; if you're pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you're allergic to fish or salmon-derived ingredients, since Rejuran's PN comes from salmon DNA. Tell the doctor about any of these before treatment.

If redness, swelling or pain is getting worse after the first few days, or the area becomes hot or starts to ooze, see a doctor at home promptly rather than holding out for your next trip. The US CDC's medical tourism guidance suggests keeping copies of your treatment records and arranging follow-up care at home before you travel, which makes that visit easier.

Planning your Seoul days around a session

Say you land at Gimpo on a Thursday evening. Line 9 runs from Gimpo Airport to Yeouido Station, and the clinic is about 4 minutes on foot from Exit 4. From Incheon, limousine bus 6007 stops at Eugene Investment & Securities, about 5 minutes away on foot, and the stop for limousine buses back to the airport is in front of the clinic.

Weekday hours run 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday 10:00 to 16:00; the clinic is closed on Sundays and public holidays. A Friday session gives the bumps the weekend to settle. For about a week afterward, skip saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and hard exercise, and avoid alcohol and smoking for 1 to 2 weeks. If a jjimjilbang night is on your list, put it before the session. Light makeup is fine after 24 hours.

Waits for Rejuran with me can run from weeks to months, so it helps to write before you book flights.

Your first WhatsApp message can be short: a daylight photo of the area, your travel dates, and one question, such as “Which product and how many sessions would you plan for this?” The clinic replies with available times.
