Planning a Rejuran skin booster injection Korea trip with thin, reactive skin, and worried the bumps will still be on your face when you land back home?

Read this before you fix your return flight.

You'll know what results to expect, what decides the cost, what forum claims get right and wrong, and what each day after the session looks like, so you can pick a trip length that suits your skin and your leave.

Hello, I'm Dr. Kim Yoo-ju, Founder & Medical Director of Time Return Clinic in Yeouido, Seoul.

We're a Rejuran SVIP clinic selected by PharmaResearch, and I'm a certified Rejuran Healer Expert. For Rejuran, I handle everything from consultation to injection, by hand, and you pick your numbing level on our plasma 5-step anesthesia (5A+).

I wrote this because people tend to plan the trip around the injection and forget the days after it, and thin skin is where those days count.

The small bumps usually settle in about 1-3 days and mild redness in about 1-2 days. I'd leave three clear days between your session and anyone who needs to see your skin up close.

Send your travel dates and your main skin concern on WhatsApp. We reply with available times, and you can check whether three clear days fit your leave.

Rejuran skin booster injection Korea: what results can you expect?

Rejuran Healer is PharmaResearch's injectable polynucleotide (PN) from salmon DNA. The fibroblasts that make collagen and elastin sit mainly in the dermis, within about 0.5 to 2 mm of the surface, so that thin layer is the target. This is why a session means many tiny injections instead of one shot.

People usually ask for it because of skin texture, elasticity and fine lines. Skin that has turned sensitive after repeated laser treatments is one type I often suggest it for, along with thin areas like the eye area and neck.

The evidence is more modest than the marketing. Lab studies link PN to more active fibroblasts, and human evidence is still more limited. A systematic review of polynucleotides in esthetic medicine is a good place to see what has been measured so far.

I can't give you a date when your skin will change. What you see in the first few days is mostly the injection reaction, so the mirror at the airport tells you little about the result.

I use four Rejuran products and choose after assessing your skin. Rejuran Healer is for overall texture and fine lines, HB combines PN with hyaluronic acid for dry skin, and i is for the eye area. S is for depressed acne scars, and what a booster can do for acne marks is a separate question. If you've read about another variant, such as HB plus, ask about it when you message us.

What happens to your skin day by day?

In short, these are typical patterns from our clinic guidance and general practice. Your own skin may run ahead of them or behind.

When What skin usually does What it means for you
Session day Small raised bumps at each point, some redness Moisturizer and sunscreen, no makeup, a quiet evening
Day 1 Bumps still visible, mild redness common Light makeup from 24 hours, walking around is fine
Day 2 Redness has usually settled, some bumps remain No sauna, steam room or hard exercise yet
Day 3 Bumps have usually settled The earliest day I'd put a meeting or photos
Later A needle-point bruise, if you got one, can last longer Bring concealer for the first week

Our aftercare guidance is to avoid sauna, steam, hard exercise and harsh exfoliation for 1-3 days. If a jjimjilbang is on your Seoul list, go before your session.

Bruises are the part thin skin changes most. With less tissue over the small vessels, the same tiny bleed tends to look darker and a bump is easier to see. Bumps follow the table fairly well, but a bruise can take a week or more to fade, and that is the reason for the concealer.

Doctor's note

Thin skin brings a temptation I think about at every point. Shallow injections hurt more, and when pain can't be controlled, Rejuran often ends up deeper than the dermis, which can reduce the effect. So I settle the pain first with your chosen numbing level, then stay at the depth your skin needs. A few extra visible bumps for a couple of days are a fair trade for product in the right layer.

How many days in Seoul should you plan?

For a Rejuran skin booster injection Korea trip, count the days after the session, because the flight is the small part. The question I'd put to you is this: what is the first thing you have to do after you land, and who will be looking at your face?

If the answer is nobody, one or two nights after the session can work. A small-volume injection into the skin is not generally a reason to avoid flying, though cabin air is dry, so keep your moisturizer in your carry-on. If you're walking into a meeting, count three clear days.

Say you have thin cheeks after repeated lasers, five days of leave and a client meeting on Monday. You land Wednesday night and have your session on Thursday. Friday is day 1, Saturday is day 2, and you fly on Sunday, which is day 3. By Monday the bumps have usually settled, and only a bruise would need covering.

The weekday matters more than people expect. We're open Mon-Fri 10:00-20:00 and Sat 10:00-16:00, and closed Sundays and public holidays. A Saturday session means your first day after it falls on a closed day, so with thin skin I'd choose a weekday. Check Korea's public holidays against your dates too.

Every plan begins with a doctor consultation, so ask at booking whether your consultation and injection can fall on the same visit. Waits for my schedule can run from weeks to months, so check available times before you commit to flights. Our visitor's guide to booking a Seoul trip covers that planning in more detail.

Getting here takes little of your trip. From Incheon, limousine bus 6007 stops at Eugene Investment & Securities, about 5 minutes on foot, and the limousine stop back to the airport is in front of the clinic. From Gimpo, Line 9 runs to Yeouido Station, and Exit 4 is about 4 minutes away.

List the dates of your last laser or skin treatments on WhatsApp and add a daylight photo of your thinnest area. Then ask how many clear days you should leave in your own case.

What decides the cost of Rejuran in Korea?

I tailor each plan after a skin assessment, and fees are confirmed by message. These are the things that move the figure for you:

  • Which product or combination suits your skin
  • Which areas are treated, and the amount each one needs
  • How many sessions make sense, which I only discuss after assessing you
  • Your nights in Seoul, which are a real part of your own budget

Ask on WhatsApp what it would cost for your areas, and name the areas in your message so the question is specific.

What forum threads get right and wrong

"It hurts more than you'd think." This one is often true. PN goes into the shallow dermis, and that's where injections hurt most. Standard numbing cream equals level 0+ on our scale, which runs to 5+, and pain tolerance varies.

"You can go back to work the next day." Physically, many people can. Whether you'd want to on day 1, with bumps across your cheeks, is the real question.

"Rejuran is Rejuran, so any clinic gives the same result." The product is the same, and we use genuine product at the exact dose as a standing rule. The difference is how accurately it reaches the thin dermis, and why hand injection suits thin skin goes further into that.

"Bigger bumps mean more product and better results." Size tells you little. A bump is where the product sits for a short time, and skin thickness changes how it looks.

"You should add microneedling for more effect." That is a separate decision with its own recovery, so read whether you need microneedling with your booster before you add days to your plan.

Risks and side effects to know

Common reactions are small bumps, redness, mild swelling and some stinging, which usually fade within days, plus occasional bruising that can last longer. Bleeding, infection and inflammation are possible complications. Results vary by individual.

As general medicine, these usually mean waiting or skipping it, so tell the doctor about any of them:

  • Infection or active inflammation in the area
  • A recent laser or resurfacing treatment there
  • Recent isotretinoin use
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Allergy to salmon, fish or an ingredient in the product

Before you leave Seoul, write down which product was used and on which areas. The CDC's medical tourism guidance also advises carrying your records and arranging follow-up care at home before you travel.

If you're home and a reaction worries you, contact the clinic with a photo. Go to a local doctor promptly for spreading redness, heat, worsening pain, pus or fever, because those can signal infection and shouldn't sit in a message thread.

One photo is enough to start

Send one daylight photo of the area that worries you on WhatsApp, with your flight home date and the one question on your mind. You can ask before booking anything. When you come, I sit down with you first, look at your skin, and decide where and how much to inject.

Questions we get about rejuran skin booster injection korea

Can I fly home the day after Rejuran?
A small-volume injection into the skin is not generally a reason to avoid flying, but expect bumps and possibly redness to be visible. Tell the doctor your flight time, and keep moisturizer with you because cabin air is dry.
Is one Rejuran session enough?
I don't promise a session count before assessing your skin. Ask about it at your consultation, since the answer also tells you whether to think in terms of one trip or more.
Is Rejuran skincare the same as the injection?
No. A serum sits on the skin surface, and large molecules generally pass poorly through the skin barrier, which is the idea behind the 500 Dalton rule in dermatology. The injection places PN directly into the dermis.
Will thin skin bruise more?
It can look that way, because there's less tissue over the small vessels and a bruise shows more easily. Many needle-point bruises fade within a week or two, and concealer usually covers them once you can wear light makeup.
Can I get help in English at the clinic?
Yes. We take inquiries in English through our site and WhatsApp, and the clinic offers English, Japanese and Chinese assistance.

Results vary by individual. Every procedure carries the possibility of side effects, explained before you agree to treatment. This article is general information from the clinic, not a diagnosis. Suitability is decided at the consultation.
