Juvelook vs Rejuran: Which Skin Booster Fits Your Skin? A Seoul Doctor Who Uses Both

Rejuran is PharmaResearch's PN (polynucleotide) injectable, made from salmon DNA. We use it when the skin itself is tired: thin, dry, quick to redden, with fine crepey lines.

Juvelook is a Korean skin booster made by Vaim Global. It combines PDLLA with hyaluronic acid and works by prompting the skin to make new collagen. We use it when the goal is structure: pores, shallow acne scars, fine lines and dryness.

So the real question is not which one is better. It is what your skin needs first.

Juvelook vs Rejuran side by side

Both are injected into the dermis, the layer where collagen-making cells live, about 0.5 to 2 mm below the surface. That is why the depth of each injection matters as much as the product.

Which one fits your skin?

Look at your skin in daylight and be honest about the first thing that bothers you.

Rejuran is usually the starting point if:

• Your skin feels thin, tight or dry even with good moisturizer
• It reddens easily or has been through a lot of laser
• You see fine, crepey lines, especially around the eyes

Juvelook is usually the starting point if:

• Enlarged pores are your main concern
• You have shallow acne scars or uneven texture
• Your skin is reasonably healthy, but you want more density

If both lists sound like you, that is common. A combination plan may make sense, and the doctor decides the order and areas.

What about pain and downtime?

Many people fear the needles more than the result. Pain depends on the number of injection points, the depth and the numbing, not just on the product.

We use plasma 5-step anesthesia (5A+) for both. You choose a level from 0+ to 5+, and 0+ is the numbing cream stage most clinics use. Pain tolerance varies.

After Rejuran, small bumps at the injection points usually settle in about 1 to 3 days. Avoid saunas, hot baths and hard exercise for about a week, and alcohol for 1 to 2 weeks. We give written aftercare for each product before you leave.
